This Sunday we continue to explore and discover what it means to follow Jesus. WWJD?
THIS Sunday we will continue to explore how God refreshed His people with the power of the gospel. Need a time of refreshing? Don't miss this Sunday!
The time of refreshing has begun as God revitalizes His Church for His glory as we see Him transform lives. A young man in the service this past Sunday from our neighborhood committed his life to Jesus. Who do you know you need to invite this Sunday? We sing, "It only takes a spark to get a fire going." Will you be that spark as God refreshes His people?
A prevailing and revitalized church is a revived church! Renewal is evident in the lives of Christ -followers! A time of refreshing has come to His church! Ever feel like you need to start over? Ever sense you need a special time of renewal? You're not alone. We all have. Many biblical stories are built around the theme that Gods people needed a time of renewal. For the next several weeks we will look at several stories of renewal. Need to start over? Begin with this Sunday! Get Refreshed! The time is now!
The Revitalized Church
We are in the middle of replanting and revitalizing a church birthed in the inner city to reach those far from God. We have discovered that the prevailing church is a praying church. The prevailing church prays for God's Kingdom to come in our hearts, homes, church, and community. We have discovered that the church lives in the Word with belief and practice. Christ followers abide in His Word with an open heart to His direction for His glory. This Sunday we explore our focus. What is our focus as we desire for everyone to be a "fully functional, faithful, fruitful follower of Jesus?" The prevailing church is a focused church. Where is your focus?
Why didn't you tell me?"
Featuring Bro. Mike Smith
Have you ever said those words. Maybe a cousin came to town that you had not seen in a while and you didn't know -- why didn't you tell me? Maybe an awesome deal at your favorite restaurant and you found out about it after the fact -- why didn't you tell me? Maybe you ended up stranded one night because of a blowout tire and your brother says after the tragic night, yea I saw your tire was low before you left that night, and you say with much angst -- why didn't you tell me?
